Customer satisfaction survey launched for Mittelrheinbahn and MoselLux

In June 2025, we were commissioned by the SPNV Nord special-purpose association to conduct passenger surveys to ensure customer satisfaction on the Mittelrheinbahn and MoselLux networks. The passenger surveys are conducted twice a year in so-called waves. The surveys focus on Koblenz, Trier, Mainz and Cologne with cross-border traffic to Luxembourg. This means that citizens from Luxembourg and France are also included.

The passenger surveys are designed to provide information that is crucial for quality assurance, such as customer satisfaction with the vehicle, with the train crew, and with safety and punctuality. The survey period will run until the end of 2029.

The survey is conducted through interviews with passengers and data collection using our ‘PBC-EMMA’ software, which transfers the documented results directly to our database via data communication in a non-personalised form. This ensures complete documentation and evaluation of the results. We then compile and evaluate the results for the client on a half-yearly basis.
