Since 1 November 2024, we have been an official associated partner in the MCube consortium, a network of stakeholders from science, the public sector, business and society that aims to jointly research, test and design sustainable mobility solutions for the Munich metropolitan region.
As one of a total of 15 German future clusters, the Munich Cluster for the Future of Mobility in Metropolitan Regions was selected as part of the ‘Clusters4Future’ funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in 2021.
We are now entering project phase II in the sub-project ‘WiPa - Effective Participation for Mobility Innovations’, which will run until autumn 2027. Our motivation to be actively involved in this exciting research project is the transformative processes in the participation of citizens in local mobility projects. The aim is to develop a set of methods for all cluster members at the end of the project phase that will meet future requirements in the participation process and can be adapted by future stakeholders.
We look forward to working with a great team consisting of:
- Technical University of Munich - Chair of Urban Structure and Transport Planning
- Munich University of Applied Sciences - Faculty of Design
- City of Munich - Mobility Department
- USP Projekte GmbH
- Hans Sauer Foundation
- experience consulting GmbH
- intrestik
