On Wednesday this week, Nuremberg City Council approved a milestone for the comprehensive redesign of the Plärrer. One of the most important lifelines for mobility in the Franconian metropolis is to be completed by 2030 at the latest, when the Urban Garden Show opens. This decision also seems to have struck a chord with the population, who support the redevelopment.
As the general planner for the entire project, this decision was an important milestone for the coming years. With this planning security, we can now take the next steps to ensure that the mobility hub on our doorstep is redesigned appropriately. We are looking forward to this responsible task together with our partners in the consortium (GRE German Rail Engineering, KREBS + KIEFER, wgf Landscape Architects and Bermüller + Niemeyer Architects).
